How should we start this bio?
Biographies are a double edged sword. They tend to categorize for the sake of simplifying office filing cabinets. A promotional product that venues seem to like for assistance in selling alcohol. You can easily falsely label yourself with a bio. You need to be very careful.
So who should we say that we sound like in order for you to want us?
We sound like Lynchpin. 3 Guys, who enjoy our music enough to pursue it with vigour and a pinch of salt. Punchy, melodic, crisp, simple.
What have we done?
Well we’ve recently returned from an American tour where we played to audiences on the East and West Coast. They had trouble understanding our accents and senses of humour, but were blown away by the tunes and our performances. We did OK there. We’ll go back soon.
What have we done here?
Lot’s of stuff, TV, radio and live shows at most of Australia’s leading venues.
So what’s important?
Melody and songs interlaced with interesting lyrics. It’s all in the music. It always has been. Three musicians, one sound.
